    Our exclusive client, a very well-known, brand name distributor of consumer goods. The Financial Controller will oversee a growing team while remaining hands on with the General Ledger and Monthly close process. The Financial Controller will need to have a proven track record of helping to develop junior level staff. Previous experience within the consumer goods industry is desired as is some level of audit experience.


    This position will require a strong background with inventory management and reporting, preferably within a distribution environment.


    The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of strong GL experience including monthly close and reporting as well as management of the AP & AR functions. Previous experience with external auditors and running the audit function is desired.

    • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Demonstrated experience in auditing procedures and practices

    • Comprehensive knowledge of budget processes, with the ability to plan, prepare, and execute financial plans

    • Proven ability to manage and maintain asset inventory

    • Familiarity with General Ledger functions and duties

    • Experience with monthly consolidation and providing accurate financial reports

    • Skilled in monthly close processes, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate
