Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator Plus $7,500

We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator to join our team and lead with professionalism, empathy, and expertise.                                                                        Position Summary: 

As the RN Unit Coordinator, you will oversee the daily operations of your assigned unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to residents. You’ll lead and support a team of healthcare professionals while fostering a positive and collaborative environment. Your role will include both clinical and administrative responsibilities, with a focus on providing excellent care and enhancing resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and guide nursing staff to ensure efficient operations and a high standard of care. 
  • Care Coordination: Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, residents, and their families.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for residents, families, and staff, addressing concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Staff Development: Provide ongoing training, support, and evaluations to nursing staff to promote professional growth and team success.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, ensuring proper documentation of care and services provided.
  • Problem-Solving: Respond promptly to any issues or emergencies on the unit, prioritizing resident safety and well-being.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Qualifications
  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in NYS. 
  • Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • A genuine passion for providing exceptional care.
