Lexington Center for Recovery is seeking Per-diem Nurses, RN or LPN, for our Rockland County Location. Nurses provide medical oversight to clients participating in a Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program and provide support to Nursing Supervisor. Position Responsibilities: -Ensures patient care is provided in accordance with internal policy and procedures as well as external regulations. -Maintains complete and accurate records. -Dispensing of methadone per guidelines of NYS OASAS/DEA regulatory agencies recognize, treat and report changes in methadone clients physical and emotional condition related to methadone maintenance. -Maintains adequate supplies of equipment and products needed to maintain clinic medications in the dispensing of methadone. Skills, Knowledge, Education, Experience: -Nurse licensure required. -two years prior experience working in a health-related facility. -prior experience working in the field of alcohol/substance abuse treatment preferred. -prior counseling or teaching experience is required.
