Position Summary
This role within Commercial Actuarial provides actuarial support to the Commercial Product organization, including:
Supporting pricing and evaluation of fully-insured product initiatives. Previous examples include infertility benefits and OTC allowance programs.
Working with other stakeholders to understand product design and impact
Communicating assumptions and findings both inside and outside the Product & Service Pricing team
Guiding junior colleagues
Evaluating and reviewing performance of previously launched/existing products
Supporting custom pricing requests
Supporting portfolio review and strategyRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree along with 3+ years of experience
ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuary) or FSA (Fellow of the Society of Actuary) designationMember of the American Academy of Actuaries
Strategic thinking & risk evaluation
Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, Access
Preferred Qualifications
Medical claim data analysis
SQL knowledgeEducation

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $139,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
