Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job | Full-time, clinical, non-tenure-track (9 month) position teaching undergraduate courses and serving as the program coordinator for the BA in educational studies. The position will begin Fall 2024. In addition to the 9-month contract, summer teaching opportunities may be available. Teaches in the online undergraduate, Bachelor of Arts program in educational studies. Serves as the undergraduate program coordinator. Engages in program advising/student mentoring and student recruitment efforts. Leads and collaborate on program growth and curricular initiatives. Serves in program, department, institutional, state, regional, national, and international service opportunities. Works collaboratively with faculty, schools, districts, private educational agencies, community colleges, higher educational institutions, and agencies. Participates in professional organizations. |

Educational Requirements for the Position | Earned Doctorate in educational leadership, educational administration, educational research, or related field by start date. |
Experience Required for the Position | At least three years of related professional experience in K-12 instruction and/or administration, higher education leadership/college student affairs, private educational industry employment (test development, textbook sales/marketing, GED, career/workforce development, educational data analysts, human resources personnel, etc.). Demonstrated evidence of quality instruction, program development, and/or student recruitment. Experience teaching or co-teaching in face-to-face, online, and/or hybrid modality. |
Other Requirements for the Position | Preference will be given to candidates with teaching or co-teaching experience in a college/university, K-12, and/or other educational setting. Preference will be given to candidates with experience using online learning technologies. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in student support: coaching, mentoring, and/or academic advising. Preference will be given to candidates with administrative experience in higher education, K-12, and private educational enterprises such as state testing services, educational program evaluation, etc. Preference will be given to candidates who can contribute to the state, regional, national, and/or international visibility of the department programs. Experience with student recruitment. |
