We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful delivery of software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies and software development lifecycles, as well as deep expertise in fostering collaboration across multiple teams. You will coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure that software projects align with business goals, meet quality standards, and deliver tangible value to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, to ensure the successful execution of software development projects
- Agile Project Management: Employ Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe® to enable iterative and high-quality delivery of technology solutions
- Team Collaboration: Promote cross-functional collaboration and manage communication between developers, designers, quality assurance teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders
- Stakeholder Management: Align business goals and project deliverables by facilitating transparency with all stakeholders, fostering alignment, and addressing changing project priorities
- Risk Management: Anticipate potential risks in project execution and build effective risk mitigation strategies to minimize issues that could delay deliveries or impact quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Act as a change agent by driving process improvements, encouraging innovation, and ensuring teams are continuously adhering to best practices
- Resource Optimization: Monitor staffing resources and workload distribution to ensure optimal productivity and project success.
- Project Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, financial performance, and KPIs to clients and leadership teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3–5 years) as a Project Manager, specifically overseeing software development projects or IT initiatives.
- Proficiency with project management tools, such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe®, etc.) and familiarity with traditional methodologies, such as Waterfall
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and other technical processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to proactively align business objectives with technical execution.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional and distributed teams in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe® Agilist, or equivalent credentials
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline practices.
- Prior experience in industries focused on digital transformation, cloud migrations, or AI integration projects
