St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport has more than 3,200 employees. It includes a 473-bed community teaching hospital, a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, a large multispecialty provider group, and special needs services for adults and children. The Clinical Lab Assistant is responsible for assisting the medical provider by performing all aspects of medical assisting to include phlebotomy and laboratory testing in a busy medical oncology office/infusion center setting.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year experience as a phlebotomist OR One (1) year experience in a clinical experience in a laboratory setting or health care setting
• Certified Phlebotomist (CPT) OR Certified Medical Assistant (MA)
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
• Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems
