Short-Term Lecturer/Assistant Professor or Teaching Specialist, Division of the Science and Mathematics
Location: Morris
Full/Part-Time: 10-100% appointment - 9 mo and < 50% time, or <9 mo and any % time

The Division of the Science and Mathematics may need Lecturers/Assistant Professors or Teaching Specialists to teach on a short-term and/or temporary basis during the 2024-25 academic year (August 12, 2024 to May 11, 2025) in one or more of the following areas:
Biology
Chemistry
Computer Science
Environmental Science
Geology
Mathematics
Physics
Statistics
About the Job
The primary responsibility will be teaching undergraduate courses.
Some service and research activity may be expected.

Qualifications



Required/Preferred Qualifications
Essential Academic Preparation = Ph.D. or terminal degree for Lecturers, MA/MS or BA/BS for Teaching Specialists.
Candidates must have academic preparation appropriate to the specialized teaching field, and must present evidence of successful teaching.
Though clear emphasis is on successful teaching, consideration will be given to scholarly attainment of other professional recognition or distinction in the teaching field.

Pay and Benefits



Pay Range: $33,190 - $54,880; depending on education/qualifications/experience. depending on education/qualifications/experience.
