Correctional Officers - 4 days on/2 days off schedule, 40 hours/week

The Franklin County Sheriffs Office seeks motivated individuals with a desire to serve and improve their community. Working at the Sheriff's Office provides the opportunity to team with clinicians, medical staff and other security staff in an effort to improve the safety of our communities by helping incarcerated men and women overcome addiction, trauma, mental health issues and improve job and housing opportunities.

Correctional Officer Starting Pay: $64,300 per year with annual increases

CORRECTIONAL OFFICER REQUIREMENTS

Franklin County Sheriff's Office Correctional Officer recruits take part in a ten (10) week basic recruit training academy. To qualify, applicants must:

Have a valid driver's license
Be at least 19 years old
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Pass a background check, physical exam (Correctional Officer Physical Standards) and a battery of tests
