    We are in search of a meticulous Staff Accountant to be a part of our team in the healthcare and social assistance sector situated in Burlington, Massachusetts. The Staff Accountant will take charge of managing customer applications, ensuring accurate customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. Furthermore, this role includes monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.


    Responsibilities:


    • Ensure proper handling of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

    • Perform Bank Reconciliations regularly.

    • In charge of maintaining the General Ledger and creating Journal Entries.

    • Ensure accuracy during Month End Close procedures.

    • Proficient use of accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP• Accurate processing of customer credit applications.

    • Maintenance and updating of customer credit records.

    • Resolution of customer inquiries in a timely manner.

    • Active monitoring and management of customer accounts.

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role

    • Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

    • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.

    • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

    • High proficiency in dealing with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

    • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.

    • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.

    • Accuracy and attention to detail.

    • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.

    • Ability to perform bank reconciliations and journal entries.

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
