General Statement | Make history and join our college by transforming nursing education and healthcare of Montana through the generous philanthropic investment of $101 million from Mark and Robyn Jones, the founders of Goosehead Insurance. By 2030, we strive to be on the top of nursing education through constructing five new campus buildings (one on each campus), the creation of five endowed professorships, student scholarships, producing more qualified nurses, and starting Montana’s first Certified Nurse Midwifery program. The Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing (CON) offers a baccalaureate in nursing, accelerated baccalaureate in nursing, Master of Nursing focused on clinical leadership, and Doctor of Nursing Practice with focus in either family nurse practitioner or psych-mental health nurse practitioner. The College has five campus locations across the state, located in Billings, Bozeman, Great Falls, Kalispell, and Missoula. The Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing is seeking nursing faculty representing diverse backgrounds to assume tenure track positions in a variety of specialty areas. Faculty members have opportunities to teach in both the graduate and undergraduate programs. Tenure track faculty members are expected to establish a focused program of research and to successfully seek extramural funding. All members of the faculty are expected to engage in college and university service and to provide nursing leadership in Montana and beyond through active participation in professional nursing organizations.
