The overall goal is to advance our understanding of the gut microbiota at the molecular level. Research projects leverage cutting-edge techniques, including DNA barcoding, short and long-read sequencing technologies, and high-throughput functional genomics. Responsibilities will include supporting daily lab functions and research needs by purchasing reagent supplies, ensuring lab safety, maintaining instruments, and updating inventory. The ideal candidate will also participate in the design and execution of wet lab experiments and/or computational analyses and is expected to contribute to publications.
