BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Support Engineer 3 for an opportunity in Redmond, WA/Remote (Contractor may need to be onsite periodically, for special meetings and events and would need a touchdown seat only)!

Expected Duration: 06 Months.

Pay Range:[$35] - [$40]
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Requirements:
1. Minimum 5+ years of experience in an enterprise environment
2. Minimum 3+ years Azure Active Directory and Active Directory Enterprise experience.
3. Minimum 3 years experience with Experience designing and deploying cloud and hybrid systems that use Microsoft Azure, including computing, network, storage, monitoring, disaster recovery, and security
Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, optimize, maintain, analyze performance, proactively troubleshoot, and continually improve a variety of Azure and on-prem infrastructure and services.
* Configure monitoring and alerting for Azure and on-prem infrastructure and services.
* Quickly troubleshoot and resolve critical issues for both Azure and on-prem infrastructure and services.
* Create clear and succinct technical documentation.
* Possibly participate in and serve as escalation point in the future for a 24/7 on call rotation at least one (1) week per month.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
* 5+ years of experience in an enterprise environment
* 3+ years Azure Active Directory and Active Directory Enterprise experience.
* Experience designing and deploying cloud and hybrid systems that use Microsoft Azure, including computing, network, storage, monitoring, disaster recovery, and security.
* Experience with enterprise storage administration.
* Proficient with PowerShell scripting and automation
* Strong understanding of networking concepts, common IT protocols, and security principles
* Experience with OS performance tuning, troubleshooting, and analyzing log files within a windows-based environment.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Excellent problem resolution and analytical skills
* Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to create and maintain clear and concise documentation.
* There is a possibility for an on-call rotation in the future, but this has not been implemented yet.
Desirable Skills:
* CCNA or equivalent knowledge
* Proficient with modern Linux distributions
* Perforce experience.
* Exam AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator or other Azure certifications
* Experience with orchestration and automation technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, or Terraform
