    Key Responsibilities:

    • Generate financial reports (e.g., profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) for management review.
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets and monitor/forecast cash flow trends.

    • Implement and improve internal controls to promote compliance and reduce financial risk.


    Required Qualifications and Skills:

    • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role (Source: US Demand for Skilled Talent Q1 2025).
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
    • Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and a working understanding of financial regulations.
    • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
    • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and team members.
    • Familiarity with tax filings and payroll processes is a plus.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • An associate’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
    • Certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or similar accreditation.
