Job Description
American Greetings is searching for a highly energetic, motivated, and creative individual to fill the role of a Product Design Intern with a focus on pop-up greeting cards and innovative new products to the celebrations category. In this role, you will have an opportunity to apply your design and technical skills to unique real-world products and corporate initiatives including our award-winning Magic Moments product line. During the internship you will learn our processes, systems, and tools. In addition, you will have a rare opportunity to learn from a team of best-in-class paper engineers, designers, and artists and apply those skills to help develop brand-new products for the marketplace.
The team you will be working with is focused on developing concepts for new products, along with planning and building pop-up focused cards for our Magic Moments and core product lines within a variety of seasonal and everyday celebration occasions.
Our ideal candidate will possess creativity, illustration and drawing skills, dimensional thinking, graphic design skills, exhibit strong concepting abilities, along with curiosity and optimism to help the team make awesome products that delight our consumer.
