KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

National Accounts Management

o Oversee relationships with national accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

o Develop strategic account plans to increase revenue, profit, and overall growth for Yanmar and ASV brands.

o Monitor market trends and competitive activities to identify new opportunities for National Accounts expansion.

o Prospect, establish, and develop new National Account opportunities

o Responsible for forecasting, program promotion, inventory control, and development of proposals for internal Yanmar CE NA team and National Accounts.

o Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to National Accounts.

o Attend trade-shows, conventions, and National Account functions as needed.

o Provide and/or coordinate product demonstrations, sales training, product training, and technical training.

· Key Account Rental

o Identify and conduct market segmentation to prospect opportunities for KAR while minimizing conflict within dealer channel

o Develop tailored sales and conversion strategies for large-scale regional rental accounts, addressing their unique needs and challenges

o Draft business plans and proposal based on the KAR needs and effectively present proposal to win KAR business

o Negotiate and manage business plans and KAR contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for Yanmar CE NA

o Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to KAR’s.

o Attend tradeshows, conventions, and KAR function as needed.

o Provide and/or coordinate product demonstrations, sales training, product training, and technical training.

· Governmental, Municipality, and Strategic Account Management

o Identify and pursue government contract opportunities at local, state, and federal levels.

o Develop and maintain relationships with key government officials and procurement officers.

o Ensure compliance with government regulations and requirements for bidding and contract execution.

o Work closely with the legal and compliance teams to navigate government procurement processes.

· Sales Performance Monitoring

o Set and achieve sales targets for National Accounts, KAR, and Governmental segments

o Ensure business planning and demand forecasting leads to successful fiscal responsibility and sales volume targets

o Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement

o Prepare and present regular reports to Senior Leadership Team highlighting performance metrics, challenges, and strategic initiatives

o Implement sales management tools to enhance sales operations and reporting accuracy.
Preferred Skills:
Education and/or Experience:

· Bachelor of Science in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

· Ten (10) years sales, territory management, and marketing experience in the construction equipment market, compact construction equipment strongly preferred.

· A proven track record of successful management and business growth of prior National Accounts is required.

· Experience in managing and motivating internal and external customer accounts.

· Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Exceptional presentation skills for presenting prospects to Yanmar CE NA management and leadership, pitching deals and winning business.

· Communication – Excellent verbal, written and e-communication skills.

· Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce and/or other CRM solutions.

· Ability to read and understand financial statements to structure proposals to meet customer unique needs.

· Problem Solving and collaboration skills.

· Self-Starter with a high drive to capture and develop a book of business at a National and Regional levels

TRAVEL:

· Ability to travel; domestic and international. Up to 75% Travel
 
Job Description:
Yanmar Compact Equipment North America designs, manufactures and supports a complete range of compact equipment including compact track loaders, mini excavators, wheel loaders and construction equipment for use in such markets as construction, landscaping, utility, land management and agriculture. The products are sold primarily through a third party, independent dealer network.

OVERVIEW:

The National Accounts Manager is responsible for recruiting, developing, promoting, and managing accounts at the national and regional level for Yanmar Compact Equipment North America. Candidate will grow and sustain equipment sales, revenue, and market share within North America. Role is to market and promote the YANMAR and ASV product lines to existing and potential national and regional accounts. This is a full-time salaried exempt remote position. While this is a home office-based role, the candidate would need to be near a major airport. This role requires the candidate to have ownership of this business and be capable of autonomy to be successful. This role reports to the Director of Business Development, North America.
