Requisition Summary
Kenworth Truck Company is looking for an experienced technology leader and training coordinator with a strong hands-on background in Computer Aided Design (CAD), Product Data Management (PDM), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). We need a person who understands engineering tools, their application, and how they fit within business processes. This position will guide the hands-on implementation of system initiatives including analysis, design/development, training, and adoption. Job Functions / Responsibilities
Lead Computer Aided Design (CAD) system projects including configuration and implementation of Creo Parametric technologies, processes, and procedures.
Coordinate and conduct CAD and PLM application training classes and promote online individualized training.
Provide ongoing support and consultation for users of Windchill PDMLink, Creo Parametric, Creo View, and other engineering applications.
Provide ongoing support of engineering processes, such as drawing release, change management, and supplier collaboration.
Plan and implement CAD application upgrade projects and process improvements to benefit users; coordinate solutions with other PACCAR divisions.
Manage, create, and maintain application procedures to ensure appropriate and efficient use of technologies.
Facilitate and coordinate commonization of CAD and Product Lifecycle Management practices and methods between Kenworth and other PACCAR divisions.
Maintain a high level of proficiency in Windchill and Creo functions, features, and requirements.
Define and enforce methods of Creo Parametric modeling and drawing creation to ensure consistency and user efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent required.
5+ years of technical background in Creo Parametric and CAD systems support; thorough understanding of Creo Parametric including preparing and conducting training classes required.
Excellent large group presentation skills, successful track record of teamwork, and proven analytical skills required.
Ability to lead process improvement projects and technical application implementations to meet the needs of a large user base.
Experience with product design, drawing requirements, release procedures, and applicable American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) drawing standards desired.
Windchill PDMLink experience desired (e.g. use with Creo, workflows, representations, and annotations).
SharePoint design and workflow development experience desired.
Familiarity with Lean concepts and 6-Sigma tools is desired.

Additional Job Board Information
At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for PLM/CAD Project Engineer and Trainer is $96,700-$151,300 annually. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
