Essential Requirements and Experience:
- At a minimum, Facility Managers shall possess at least five (5) years of recent experience (within the past 7 years) as a first line supervisor in directing personnel responsible for the accomplishment of similar operations, preventative/ reactive maintenance, and repair work of greater or equal complexity to this facility.
- Experience shall be in buildings of at least a similar size (500,000 sf) with similar characteristics. This includes, but is not limited to, experience in accomplishing preventative maintenance management and repairs to the following types of systems: Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems; large chiller plants; low pressure boilers; computerized fire alarm systems; emergency generators; high voltage switchgear; HVAC systems; and complex building automation systems.
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Experience in the management and supervision of building mechanical maintenance operations for large commercial office buildings.
- The Facilities Operations Manager shall possess highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills and demonstrate the ability to manage in a diverse and dynamic environment with short notice taskings under high pressure situations.
Required Skills:
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to write and deliver reports.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize job duties and assignments.
- Ability to effectively present information and and respond to questions.
- Ability to work in a team environment but with minimal supervision.
- Ability to effectively utilize available resources to maximize productivity.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Google applications
