Who are you?

You have a passion for building meaningful client relationships and guiding individuals through one of the most important financial decisions of their lives. We’re looking for a driven and experienced Mortgage Loan Originator II to join our dynamic Mortgage Lending team! In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to provide personalized, client-focused mortgage solutions. You will be responsible for:

1. Originating and underwriting both conforming and non-conforming residential mortgage loans.

2. Building and nurturing a network of referral sources including realtors, attorneys, builders, and CPAs.

3. Partnering with branch staff and internal lenders to promote a full suite of mortgage products.

4. Conducting needs-based interviews and delivering tailored financing options.

5. Working collaboratively with processing and lending teams to ensure timely, compliant loan closings.

6. Actively participating in community events to strengthen visibility and engagement.

Requirements:

Education & Experience – 4-6 years of previous related mortgage lending experience and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred – CRA-related lending experience and bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.

Required Certifications – NMLS (within 1 year of employment).

Skills – You should possess well-developed abilities and a proven track record in the following areas:

• Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator with a strong knowledge of current mortgage products, regulations, and underwriting requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with customers, realtors, and community organizations.
• Exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Capable of critical thinking and assessing complex situations.
• Highly attentive to detail with strong organizational abilities.
