The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Technician to join our machine shop team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical principles, hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment


Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
• Work closely with our team of engineers and technicians to fabricate, assemble, and test prototypes and production-ready parts

Qualifications:

Required: 

• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
• Experience in a machine shop or related environment
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and concepts
• Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a machine shop environment

Desired:

• Current Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
• Certificate in a mechanical-related field (e.g., machining, engineering technology)
• Experience with CNC machines, 3D printing, or other advanced manufacturing technologies
• Knowledge of mechanical design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Mastercam)
• Familiarity with quality control and inspection procedures
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.​
 

Minimum Required Hourly Wage:

$30.93
