everyday! Job Purpose The Product Management Intern will support two
critical functions within the Product Development Process - Consumer
Insights and Product Management. Helping to drive future product
offering at Fiskars by exploring the consumer landscape and assisting in
execution of the product roadmap. In a fast-paced work environment, the
intern will heavily collaborate with the Future Offering Development
team on opportunities for new product development and providing
consumer-centric solutions. Key Responsibilities Consumer Insights
Support macrotrend exploration using desktop resources and trend reports
Help define category trends for gardening, creating, pet care, kids, and
cooking categories Support local qualitative research initiatives such
as focus groups: helping with recruitment,planning, logistics,
discussion design, analysis, and reporting Collaborate on quantitative
studies regarding consumer\'s needs and shopping behavior:supporting
design of surveys, analysis, and reporting key findings Product
Management: Assist Sr. Offering Manager with executing the Creating
product roadmap including delivering tasks as assigned from the product
development process Support consumer research initiatives to thoroughly
understand overall and specific trends and behaviors that can translate
to business opportunities. Develop proposals based on these findings
Conduct landscape gap analysis and formulate recommendations for
portfolio and roadmap as it relates to our creating categories Assist in
updating training materials for Global sales and channel teams,
catalogs, and other product updates or refinements Education Currently
pursuing a degree in Business; Marketing, Consumer Behavior, or a
related field, with anticipated graduation within the next 12-24 months
Skills & Experience Interested in consumer insights, crafting, and
fashion (color/print analysis) Detail oriented, strong communicator,
organized, self-starter Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment
to producing professional-quality work Ability to collaborate and work
effectively in a team environment Language Skills English as a daily
