The Senior Quality Manager is a technical expert within the quality domain. This role manages nonfunctional test teams of performance, application security, and Test Data/Environment management teams, which evaluate, test, and validate software and IT services. This role guides the group and partners with Agile leaders and business partners to ensure that the large-scale program/projects follow IT standards to release quality products to end users. This role Drives nonfunctional tests, test data, and environment strategy for a program or domain for multiple projects, including program/releases, by ensuring the necessary testing deliverables and tasks are completed on schedule and within budget. This role partners with team managers and tech lead to define technology strategy to optimize current processes and provide cost-effective solutions to project teams.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Leads Centralized shared Performance, Security test teams and Test Data/Environment teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, which may include directing global sourcing resources as well as virtual teams.
Develops integrated performance, security, test data and environment strategy to support all the platforms across the bank.

Supports respective team managers to identify and manage testing dependencies and critical paths; and tracks/reports testing milestones as well as status.

Estimates resources needed to achieve testing goals; tracks utilization; determines and assesses need for additional staff and/or vendors; manages transition of on/off-boarding; and monitors/manages vendor performance as it relates to supporting testing.
Drafts and submits testing budget proposals and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary; conducts cost forecasting and actual tracking as well as variance reporting.
Identifies tracks, escalates, and resolves testing issue conflicts; performs impact analysis and prioritization; manages dependencies and track/monitors; and escalates testing risk with corrective/ mitigating actions.
Adheres to project lifecycle & QAS (Quality Assurance and Services) standards & processes, performs testing assessments/retrospectives; coach/ mentors' teams; and manages testing deliverable reviews and testing signoffs.
Leads testing communication plan and drives the testing planning, execution and reporting with team members; liaises with key stakeholders.
Serve as a point of contact for escalation, audits, and senior management.
Reviews all the test deliverables, responsibility for the integration of testing into release management and change management.
Communicates accurate status/health information to delivery Project managers and Delivery managers including escalation along with risks & mitigations in summary level.
Ensures quality milestones/reviews are done on timely manner and making sure that Key performance indicators and service level agreements are being met and enforced.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.

Experience:

7+ years of leadership experience,
3+ years of increasingly complex project related experience managing large scale of functional and nonfunctional testing programs/projects in operations or technology in the quality assurance space.
Experience managing performance, security engineers and test data analysts.
Experience in onboarding new tools and implementing automation where plausible.
Knowledge and experience with standard project development/management and Agile methodologies and tools required with a focus in managing testing efforts.
Knowledge and experience in the financial services industry a plus.

Experience with the following tools with Burp suite, Checkmark (Application Security Testing tools
Knowledge of Performance testing tools (Blazemeter or other tools), Perfecto (Mobile Testing tool or other mobile test tools), K2view (Test Data)
Experience with Jira, Agile methodology, CI/CD pipeline
Knowledge of performance, and security testing techniques.
Knowledge of Test Data and environment management practices
Demonstrates a strong technical aptitude.
Organized, self-disciplined, and leads others towards common outcomes.
Clearly articulate vision for future state; provide big-picture view/ enterprise view; decisive and directive when necessary.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $92,000 to $172,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
