    We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Technician in the transport industry, based in Wilmington, Ohio. As a Help Desk Technician, you'll play a key role in handling technical inquiries, setting up and troubleshooting hardware, and managing network services for our team. You will be expected to communicate complex technical concepts in an understandable way, as well as work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical people in a clear manner
    • Analyze and solve problems effectively and timely using industry best practices and procedures
    • Balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Set up, configure and troubleshoot desktop/notebook hardware
    • Handle Windows desktops and notebooks, as well as iOS devices, in a networked environment
    • Utilize Microsoft Office 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016 and Outlook 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016
    • Apply some knowledge of TCP/IP networking, and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc.)
    • Use some knowledge of Active Directory concepts and administration
    • Work in a structured, process-driven environment
    • Show self-motivation in handling tasks and responsibilities.
    • Proficiency in Android Development, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve related issues
    • Strong knowledge of Cisco Technologies, capable of maintaining and optimizing these systems
    • Expertise in Citrix Technologies, with a focus on their application in a transport setting
    • Familiarity with Mac Computers, including troubleshooting and general maintenance
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft applications, specifically those relevant to help desk operations
    • Experience with Active Directory, including management and configuration
    • Knowledge of Apple Devices, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
    • Proficient in Computer Hardware, capable of diagnosing and fixing common hardware issues
    • Experience with Configuration Management, ensuring systems are consistently configured in an approved manner
    • Familiarity with Deployments, specifically with the ability to manage and execute them in a transport setting
