As a Senior Oracle Applications Analyst you will be at the forefront of implementing and managing Oracle EBS modules while focusing on seamless integration during STERIS acquisitions. Your role will be pivotal in sustaining, enhancing, design, and testing of Oracle EBS modules such as Cash to Order, Supply Chain, and/or Finance.
This is role is considered Hybrid, with the requirement of working onsite at our Mentor, OH Headquarters 3 days per week.
What will you do as a Sr. Oracle Apps Analyst?
In this role, you will lead Oracle EBS module implementation adapting systems to align with business and acquisition strategies. This is an important role serving as a bridge between the business requirements and technical solutions through collaboration with project management and technical teams. You will manage change processes ensuring adherence to best practices and provide function and technical expertise regarding Order to Cash, Supply Chain and or Finance. Additional responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:
Project Leadership and Management - 50%
Partners with project manager in executing and delivering according to the project plan
Acts as a liaison between business teams and development team.
Serves as business analyst and project lead for the area of responsibility.
Identifies business process gaps and differences between acquisition and STERIS
Manages change requests process
Provides daily and weekly status reports
Coordinates with technical teams for development and delivery of software objects
Provides input to cut over plan
Establishes standard work and ensures adherence to best practices
Design, Develop and Configure Systems - 25%
Participatein discovery meetings and site visits
Scheduleand conducts design sessions for area of responsibility
Documentuser requirements
Preparefunctional design documents
Prepareconfiguration documentation (BR100)
Workwith acquisition data teams on data conversion templates
Workwith boundary application owners to design and develop interfaces
Prepareand performdata reconciliation and validation
ConfigureOracle environments for mock, integration, user acceptance testing and production
Research, evaluates and recommends software and hardware solutions
Performtesting and evaluation, including proof of concepts and demos of new functionality
Interfacewith software vendors to facilitate the purchase of services, software and hardware
Workwith software vendor support teams to research and resolve issues
Workwith DBA and SA teams to implement changes and fixes in all environments
Workon System Change Requests (SCRs)
Technical Support, System Administration and Maintenance - 25%
Maintainstandardization and documentation of technology and processes.
Develos and implements training plans to support applications as required.
Providetechnical support and maintenance of I.T. systems.
Troubleshootand resolveproblems with system configurations and hardware.
Provideescalation support for System Administrators.
What skills, abilities and experience will you need?
BS or BA degree in computer science or related field required
7+ years experience in Oracle Applications modules in one of the major functional areas
Order Entry: Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Customer Master (TCA)
Supply Chain: iProcurement, Purchasing, Inventory, Shipping, Manufacturing, WMS, Quality, BOM
Financials: Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Cash Management, Project Accounting, Tax, Fixed Assets
7+ years experience in Oracle Applications environment - Application Object Library, Concurrent Programs, Alerts, Workflows
5+ years experience in interfaces with other applications using Web Services, APIs, flat file transfers or database links.
Experience in the use of Middleware will be preferred.
7+ years experience in full life cycle implementation of Oracle Applications or upgrades
7+ years experience in designing and developing custom applications in the Oracle Applications environment
