Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Candidates will typically have 8 years of experience as a Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, or Product Engineer.
- Experience with Tray test stations (L10) or Rack testing (L11) bringing-up including gauge correlation.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience collaborating with NPI and engineering teams on new products and drive all sustaining test issues.
- Experience with test time, yield improvement, and optimization.
- Experience in establishing system calibration, gauge repeatability and reproducibility, and correlation study for each change management.
- Knowledge with the Linux and Window operating system and common command line tools and Python/Basic Shell Script.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you evaluate the product designs and create the processes, tools and procedures behind Google’s powerful search technology. - Design, build, deploy, and optimize Tray/Rack test platforms for Google's global manufacturing partners.
- Partner with the NPI team to define design for test (DFT) requirements and provide lessons learned input to Manufacturing Test Strategy.
- Provide caliber Manufacturing Test Engineering support for new (collaboration) and existing products.
- Drive Rack Test initiatives to improve test process efficiencies, improve test coverage, and reduce cost.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and root cause manufacturing yield issues and field escapes. Drive issues to closure with preventive measures.
