Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position | The Student ERP Analyst (Analyst) is a mid-level technical position that provides technical support for critical enterprise functionality such as admissions, advisement, registration, financial aid awards, housing, student billing, and maintenance of academic history. The Analyst provides advanced technical support for the Banner ERP Student and Financial Aid modules, and related applications. This position performs business process analysis and design, serves as a team member in the deployment of new applications, the implementation of upgrades, or the development of new software, and serves an important role in application integration and project management. This position works with and coordinates activities across functional offices including the Registrar, Enrollment Management, Financial Aid, Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate College, Treasurer, and others. The Analyst reports to the Director of Enterprise Applications, works under the direction of senior technical staff, and is a mid-level technical member of the department. This position works across functional and technical offices to ensure that Banner and related applications function at a high level of effectiveness. |

Primary Function of Organizational Unit | Information Technology Services (ITS) strengthens and supports the university’s mission of teaching, research, and scholarly application of knowledge by providing the information technology infrastructure, software, hardware, and support to achieve the university’s strategic goals. ITS is comprised of nine departments which work with the university community to provide the information technology support and services required to realize operational excellence, integrate advanced technology, and create efficient and effective technology solutions. |
