As an Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell within Honeywell Flight Systems, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the advancement of aerospace technology, applying your technical expertise to develop innovative solutions for Flight Control Systems.
Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Flight Controls Systems, to work on Automatic Flight Controls Systems (AFCS) for our Business, Regional, and General Aviation platforms, for fixed-wing aircraft, helicopter, and future Urban Air Mobility (UAM), including EPIC, Apex, Anthem Avionics, and legacy product lines. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in every aspect of the systems lifecycle, from the front end of development through product end of life.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirement analysis
Requirement decomposition
Systems design
Model-based systems development
Systems integration
Systems validation & verification
Flight test and issue investigation
Customer interaction.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as engineering, science, or technology
4 years of experience working on Flight Controls, other Avionics or engineering programs.
