Job Description

 

One of our residential programs located in Latham, NY currently has a full-time, 40-hour Assistant Residential Manager (ARM) position available. The schedule for this position is Sunday 8a-10p, Monday & Tuesday 1p-9p, & Wednesday 8a-4:30p* (*denotes required 30-minute unpaid lunch break). This is an hourly non-exempt position. The rate of pay is $21.50 per hour. Should you be interested - overtime is available. The ARM will support and care for people with intellectual or other developmental disabilities. The Assistant Residential Manager assists the Residential Manager to ensure the program is running safely and effectively. This can include but is not limited to assisting the people with getting ready for the day or going to bed, cooking, cleaning, medication assistance, and participating in social/recreational activities in the community - and just plain have fun while making a difference!

18 years of age.

Have a valid driver’s license.

High school diploma or equivalent = preferred.

At least 9 months of experience working with people who have Intellectual or other Developmental Disabilities = preferred.

Ability to use independent judgment and discretion to ensure employee compliance with regulatory standards, agency policies and procedures, and plans of care.
