JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 20583 JOB TITLE: Wellness Coordinator -
University Health and Counseling Service ATTENTION: The department of
University Health and Counseling Services at the University of
Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a Wellness Coordinator (population Health
Manager, HS083). JOB DETAILS: Develop, coordinate and implement programs
designed to give students the information, skills and encouragement they
need to make responsible decisions about their health and well being.
Promote a healthy culture and environment on campus and in the local
community. The coordinator must work collaboratively with UHCS staff,
students, and the student related campus community to assist with
department functioning as needed. UHCS is an affirmative action
conscious organization. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage wellness promotions and
programming, including, but not limited to presentations to student
groups and classes, promotions and events, and education through campus
media. Evaluate student health outcomes and patient satisfaction with
UHCS services with the following surveys: National College Health
Assessment, Learning Outcomes and Satisfaction Survey for Counseling
Services, and the Health Services Satisfaction Survey. Conduct other
surveys as needed. Disseminate survey results and research to the
students and the connected campus community. Work with others on campus
and in the community to develop a health culture and environment. Assess
student needs, develop Health Promotion goals and objectives and monitor
progress. Participate in committees, teams and coalitions, including
student success, retention, and administrative affairs leadership
committees. Assist with accreditation and administrative functioning of
UHCS. Research, develop and pretest new wellness programs and materials.
Manage UHCS web site. Oversee Peer Educators Evaluate the usage and
effectiveness of current programming. Manage Wellness budget. Promote
good public relations amongst students and the campus. Market the
services and programs of UHCS utilizing print and social media. TO

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor\'s
degree in Health Education or related field Minimum of 3 years related
experience Preferred Qualifications: Effective oral and written
communication skills Ability to relate sensitively to and work
cooperatively with students, faculty and administration Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities: Willingness and ability to be an active
participant in following applicable safety rules and regulations
including necessary training drills. Ability to interact respectfully
with people from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic
