The Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo) Business Operations team is seeking a self-directed Financial Analyst that works well in a team environment. If you are a Finance professional with the ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, we want to speak to you!
A day in the life of a Financial Analyst may involve, but not limited to:
* Support annual incurred cost submission.
* Assist with resolving internal control deficiencies and findings.
* Reconciliation of monthly General Ledger accounts and responsibility for determining path forward to clear outstanding reconciling items including recommendations to management on how items are to be resolved.
* Prepare, analyze and monitor customer billings including the aging of the billings.
* Ensure all accounting entries comply with GAAP, SOX, CAS, FAR, and FTR.
* Assist with supporting internal and external audits:
- Assist with development and execution of annual Subcontract Audit Plan based on cost analysis and risk assessment procedures.
- Assist with providing comprehensive and timely support, justifications, and responses to auditors.
* Review, audit, and analyze:
- Process accounts payable invoice requests.
- Accounts payable invoices against the terms and conditions of the prime contract and the subcontract.
- Compliance issues and recommend resolution to internal customers.
* Assist with preparing of contract deliverables in accordance with the prime contract, as needed.
* Assist with overtime reporting requirements. Monitor compliance with prime contract and applicable contract deliverable requirements.
* Assist with analyzing and monitoring timecard compliance including advising management of timekeeping performance indicators at the company level.
* Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers.
* Other duties as assigned by manager.
Basic Qualifications
* Intermediate Grade 14: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 2 or more years of relevant experience.
* Career Level Grade 16: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 5 or more years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
* Accounting and regulatory compliance experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access databases.
* Knowledge of various systems including but not limited to Asset Suite, PeopleSoft ERP systems, Crystal Reporting, and QuickBooks.
* Ability to communicate ideas in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbally.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
* Intermediate Grade 14: $71,200 - $89,800
* Career Level Grade 16: $86,138 - $108,513
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
