Jamestown. Insulation Installer. Full Time $18-$25 Hour Benefits available Trainees will learn energy efficiency measures to retrofit residential homes to reduce energy consumption. Training will include classroom training, training materials and OJT field experience. Trainees must be physically fit, able to stand, kneel or work outdoors during extreme weather conditions, lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, work form heights no grater that 25 feet, be able to crawl under or through tight dirty spaces. Trainees will learn the proper techniques for the following tasks: -Insulation Measures -Dense pack walls, floors, attics, and ceilings with cellulose insulation, blank and board -Fiberglass Insulation -Walls, ceilings, and crawl spaces. -Spray Foam -Rim joist, knee walls, attic slopes, and air seal penetrations. -Duct Work Wrap duct work and water lines, seal combustion and ventilation opening to improve heating and cooling efficiency. -Weather Strip doors, attic hatches, and windows. -Fulfill work scopes as directed by the crew chief and energy auditor, make minor repairs to drywall and framing.
