BrightStar Care Athens/Lawrenceville has immediate positions available in Decatur, Georgia and surrounding areas for Home Health Aide's and CNA's to work with patients in their home. We are looking for individuals who are caring, kind and genuine with others, manage pressure and stress in a positive way, are reliable and who serve for the greater good to make a real difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• Provide client care according to approved Plan of Care

• Assist clients with daily personal hygiene including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping

• Take and record vital signs of client including height and weight, if necessary

• Assist client with active and passive range of motion as defined by the plan of care, as well as observing the client’s physical, mental, and emotional conditions

• Provide client with help walking and transferring to doctor appointments, outside activities, and shopping

• Develop and promote a safe environment to provide quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards

• Provide transportation as required

• Assist in providing a safe environment for client

• Comply with all documentation and record keeping requirements

• Follow principles of infection control and Universal Precautions

• Ensure client’s rights are adhered to

• Treat client, family, and staff with courtesy and respect

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Certified CPR

• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray

• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience is required

• Reliable Transportation and proof of auto insurance
