Carpenter
Job Summary:
Provide individual contributions utilizing your skills, experience, and education towards the successful completion of new commercial and residential construction projects, including demolition and renovation.
Responsibilities-Essential Duties:
Project Management
- Work safely on specific tasks as assigned by site lead/foreman
- Maintain effective communication with co-workers and jobsite lead/foreman Support a safe, and respectful working environment
- Expand skills, experience and knowledge in construction processes and applications
- Report immediately to you site lead/foreman any safety concerns whether it be to person, or property, such as near misses, incidents, or accidents
- Load, unload and move material to ensure efficient work processes
- Perform product removal and disposal activities
- Layout and install building systems and products per manufacture recommendations
- Lead installation for short periods in the absence of lead/foreman
- Set and disassemble scaffolding and other job readiness equipment
- Operate necessary equipment as assigned, only after proper training
- Report on time, ready to work in accordance with assigned work schedule
Performance Management:
- Lead employees by example
- Participate in your development, including training and disciplinary actions as scheduled and needed.
- Maintain and build productive relationships with leads and foreman.
- Review, understand, abide by, and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Lead by example a safe and drug free workplace
- Provide the mental and physical ability to consistently perform physical labor, walk, kneel, stand, lift, bend, and twist, lift #80 consistently and climb ladders.
