    We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Reporting Specialist with expertise in SEC reporting requirements to join our dynamic finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, preparing accurate financial statements for public filing, and working closely across departments to support company objectives. This role requires hands-on experience with SEC filings, GAAP principles, and financial reporting best practices.




    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required documents with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
    2. Financial Statements: Ensure the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
    3. Documentation & Controls: Maintain appropriate documentation to support financial reports and filings, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
    4. Technical Accounting: Research and implement new accounting standards, as needed, by analyzing SEC guidance and consulting with internal/external auditors.
    5. Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams such as legal, tax, and investor relations to address financial disclosure requirements and ensure consistency in financial communication.
    6. Audit Support: Work closely with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits to provide necessary schedules and documentation.
    7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes through automation and streamlining, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
    8. Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects, such as mergers or acquisitions, providing necessary reporting and compliance support.


    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CFA preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in financial reporting, with direct responsibility for SEC filings. Public accounting experience (e.g., Big Four) is highly desirable.
    • Technical Skills: Proficient in financial systems, software, and ERP solutions (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or Workiva). Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
    • Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Adept at analyzing complex data, written guidelines, and preparing polished reports under tight deadlines.
    • Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate financial concepts and reporting requirements to non-financial stakeholders.
    • Team Player: Able to work collaboratively in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
