Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee complex accounting processes, including general ledger management, account reconciliations, and monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to provide insights to management.
- Reconcile and manage fixed assets, inventory, and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting for audits and tax filings.
- Develop and implement controls to strengthen accounting practices and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting or corporate accounting roles.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
