Projects & Business Developer in Circular Economyst/Sustainability (F/M/X)

About the role

  • Our By products valorization team team, composed of 3 people, is integrated in the Soda ash and derivatives department.
  • As a Project and business developer in circular economy, you will work on the deployment of key projects internally and externally for co-product, by-product and wastes. You will get the opportunity to contribute to protecting the licenses to operate of our production sites globally and have a positive impact on the increase of competitiveness and saving natural resources.
  • You will be accountable for:
    • The challenge to offset CAPEX, development cost by valorizing co/by products with a end user company
    • Deploying the 5 years roadmap of the assigned project and current business lines
    • Securing and contributing the improvement of current turnover of several M€/y: understand customer needs, develop, negotiate and monitor contracts
    • Project management: priorities, tracking, monitoring, management of cross functional project team
    • More specifically for this position we are looking for someone to cover our German and French customers and partners for Rheinberg near Dusseldorf and Dombasle near Nancy(FR)
  • We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode and travelling up to 20% of the time.

About you

  • Engineer or master degree or equivalent in chemistry / mechanics or business with chemistry acumen
  • Relevant work experience in business development or project management
  • Competencies:
    • Business development and secure business with strong negotiation skills
    • German, french and english fluent
    • Knowledge in cement, construction or fertilizer segment is a strong plus
  • Behaviors:

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Germany) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 83,000.00 euros to 104,000.00 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
