Job title: Mill and Lathe Operator
Location: Twinsburg, OH
Shift: 1st shift (10 hour days Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed)
Salary: $25 to $30 an hour based on experience
As the Manual Machinist you would be responsible for setup and operation of manual Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM), Vertical Turret Lathes (VTL), and other manual Lathes.
Duties/Responsibilities- Set up and operate manual control machines based on part configuration
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, instructions, and specifications
- Understand and comply with industry regulations
- Read and follow blueprints or original components to manufacture new parts
- Regularly clean machinery and equipment as needed
Skills/Qualifications- 2 years' experience in Mill and Lathe Machine setup and operation
- Perform basic math, have strong analytical skills, precision and attention to detail.
- Able to complete tasks in a fast paced job shop environment.
- Overhead crane operation experience is a plus
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Will be subject to a 10-panel drug screen and other pre-employment screening.
