About you
As a CARSOME Inspector, you will be responsible to perform detailed inspection and ensure proper diagnosis is
done.
Your day-to-day
● Perform the standard vehicle inspection on-site or off-site.
● Assess vehicle Exterior, Interior, Suspension, Body Structure, and engine condition.
● Check if the vehicle got into a flood or has flood damage.
● Check if the vehicle got into an accident and impacted the vehicle's body structure.
● Check for signs, exterior repair and paint issues due to collision or impact.
● Check if the vehicle has a sign of fire damage or electrical issues which may result electrical shortage.
● Check for any alteration to ABS and Airbags system (May relate to a collision history)
● Conduct visual suspension checking to identify the part defects.
● Assess engine and transmission performance and identify defects, trouble, or symptoms.
● Conduct road tests to finalize the overall performance of the vehicle.
● List down all the repairs required & defects found specifying the equivalent defect deduction.
● Provide accurate and complete documentation of overall vehicle condition; provide reports based on findings
(accomplished checklist and photos required.
● Negotiate with client on final selling price and provide documentations for signatory.
Your know-how
● Education: A high school graduate and above.
● Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training required.
● Possess negotiation skill
● Skill Certification required (Technical School, TESDA, etc.).
● Have a valid professional driver’s license.
● Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
● Must read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
● Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
● May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
● Experience as a lube technician, or prepared to do on-the-job training.
● Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems.
● Ability to use the diagnostic equipment.
● Experience with heavy equipment and as a diesel mechanic, diesel engine knowledge, or prepared to do
on-the-job training.
● The team works 6 days a week including Saturday and Sunday. Team’s off day to be rotated with team
mates. Hence, Inspection Team Leader will be on standby to support the team (if needed)
