About the Job

CoverMyMeds' Data & Analytics is looking for a Data Engineering Analyst to join our Data Engineering team. Of note, our Data Engineering Team is a highly technical group of results driven Engineers, Analysts and Architects focused on providing our internal and external clients with high quality, repeatable and scalable data solutions. Together with our various business units, the work our Data Engineering team does ultimately helps get more people the medicine they need to live healthier lives.

What You'll Do

The Data Engineering Analyst will work collaboratively with our Analytics and Technology partners to solve business problems and deliver data solutions. This position will work to understand technical configuration and data flows across our systems and partner with stakeholders to document clear, concise and thorough requirements that our Data Engineers will leverage to build scalable solutions.

Position Description

Partnering with stakeholders identify business needs/wants & translates those needs into measurable requirements that can be coded, tested, & successfully implemented & adopted for data products/applications.

Review/validate test plans and ensure that the end result meets the specified business requirements.

Supports QA activities testing to ensure that build matches requirements.

Collaborates with technical delivery & solution engineering teams on the details of technical solutions to validate that the strategic business needs are met.

May lead cross-functional integrated teams to address business & adoption issues (e.g., user experience, data flow, process flow).

Serves as a key resource by providing input into the development of new feature/release education.

Collaborates with regulatory SMEs to understand how regulation affects products & documents regulatory requirements.

Create data documentation, may speak directly to internal and external clients about data products and communicate timelines and describe high level technical design.

Critical Skills

4+ years experience working with reporting and/or data warehouse solutions

Demonstrated ability to conduct requirements elicitation, document requirements, obtain buy-in with stakeholders and test that system functionality as developed meets those requirements.

Experience with healthcare data

Advanced SQL Query Writing/Reading Experience

Experience with Snowflake.

Organized and high attention to detail

Ability to create data mapping documentation

Excellent oral and written communications skills with ability to present complex technical information for both non-IT executives and additional audiences

Required Skills/ Nice to have

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; timely communication with clear expectations. An active listener and clear communicator.

Ability to understand user requirements and communicate them in appropriate manner to engineering resources

Strong time management skills and ability to manage several tasks at once, prioritize accordingly and exceed deadline timelines

Exhibit a strong sense of urgency and ownership for task/project completion.

Knowledge on Cloud, Data warehousing and ETL

Highly adept at working collaboratively across multiple business and technical functions to achieve results.

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at CoverMyMeds. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$77,800 - $129,600
