JOB REQUIREMENTS: About the Role Talgo, Inc. is seeking a Shop Manager -
Mechanical to oversee and coordinate mechanical manufacturing
operations. This role involves leading the mechanical management team,
ensuring safety and quality standards, and driving operational
efficiency in the refurbishment of train sets. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support mechanical management teams (Supervisors & Team
Leaders). Ensure compliance with FRA, OSHA, AAR, and company safety
regulations. Develop daily production planning to meet project goals.
Initiate improvements in production, safety, and employee morale.
Monitor and manage parts, supplies, and tooling availability. Function
as a technical expert on mechanical systems of train sets. Assist in the
training and development of technicians and oversee mechanical training
programs. Oversee hiring, training, performance evaluations, and
disciplinary actions. Interpret and implement engineering drawings and
technical documents. Qualifications 3-5 years of managerial experience
in a manufacturing environment. Associate degree or equivalent
experience in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or
troubleshooting mechanical systems. Strong knowledge of mechanical
tools, equipment, and measurement/data analysis tools. Proficiency in MS
Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word); SAP experience is a plus. Bilingual

years of managerial experience in a manufacturing environment. Associate
degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering,
troubleshooting, or industrial electrical maintenance. Strong knowledge
of AC/DC power systems, schematics, and control systems. Proficiency in
MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word); SAP experience is a plus.
