Job Description:
This camp's Kitchen Staff have one of the most important and integral jobs
at summer camp: assisting the chef team in ensuring everyone receives a
meal. They are responsible for cooking all the meals at camp, assisting with
kitchen clean up, and keeping all meals and the kitchen kosher to put out
high quality meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for about
250 people each day.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook all camp meals safely and in accordance with kashrut
practices - which includes using a stovetop, gas grill, broiler, and
convection oven
Assist in organizing and inventory of food deliveries
Be aware of allergy information and ensure separation of allergens per camp
policies
Ensure that all cleaning and sanitizing practices are in accordance with
