Alfred, N.Y. Alfred University. Digital Content Writer. FT. Benefits. $42,000- $45,000/Year. The digital content specialist and writer will serve as digital content producer, particularly for the website and social media channels, to support strategic initiatives of the Communications and Marketing Office. The specialist will facilitate the curation, creation, and collection of new and existing content for distribution across university digital platforms. This person is responsible for developing compelling written web and social media content to enhance the reputation and visibility of the University, driving engagement, and ultimately enrollment, among target audiences. The specialist will work closely with the Vice President for Marketing and Communications to define and evolve social media strategies for the University, and partner with others in the Marketing and Communications Office to develop and execute content and communication initiatives to support our overall institutional content strategy. This person will effectively navigate various emerging content creation techniques including, but not limited to: conceptualizing, writing, editing and collaborating with others across the University campus.
