We’re looking for someone like you to help propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.

A Functional Analyst must have experience working with customers, users and project leads in analyzing, designing, implementing and supporting IT business applications and systems.  A functional analyst has experience in having primary responsibility for individual projects and systems.   Must have experience in testing functionality and matching to requirements.

Basic Qualifications: 

• 5+ years’ experience as a Functional Analyst analyzing, designing, implementing and supporting IT business applications and systems

• Experience with the analysis of business, functional and technical, activities

• Experience working in an agile environment

• Experience working with ServiceNow

• Knowledge of software requirements and testing tools   

• Knowledge of business process engineering, requirement engineering, and testing practices.  

• Possess the ability to create/analyze requirements accountability records.  

• Ability to verify that software and its documentation is compliant with applicable requirements functionally.  

• The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be proficient in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel.  

• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills  

• Strong attention to detail  

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required. 

Nice If You Have: 

• Knowledge of statistical, business process modeling, and business reporting tools  

• Microsoft SharePoint  

• Rational, Atlassian JIRA experience

• Experience working for a federal agency
