Job Overview

Fairview Urgent Care Centers provide convenient medical care weekdays, evenings and weekends.  Physician Assistants working in urgent care provide a broad spectrum of non-emergent care for minor illness and injury.  All hospital admissions are referred to the physician on-call for these practices.  Moonlighters are needed for a variety of shifts at M Health Fairview urgent care centers in the metro area.  Hours vary by site.  Volume fluctuates seasonally.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • BC/BE through NCCPA
  • Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
  • Ability to obain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialign and Privileges (if required).
  • Must be comfortable seeing pediatric and adult patients.
  • Preferrered qualification: 1-2 years urgent care or clinic experience.  Internal candidates are also preferred.
