| Job Description: |
Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for performing non-invasive general radiology procedures according to established policies and procedures.
Job Functions
Prepares room, equipment and materials as needed for patient procedures
Sterilizes instruments, exam rooms and equipment
Troubleshoots and maintains equipment
Completes daily QA/QC procedures
Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
Organizes and maintains x-ray supplies and inventory.
Communicates with providers ,patients and support staff as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education/Work Experience
X-Ray Operator License (grandfathered prior to 2007) or completion of AART limited scope Operator examination per Minnesota Department of Health (required Minimum if performing x-ray function)
Current CPR Certification
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions.
Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above.
Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
Knowledge of basic computer functions and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work autonomously and as a team
Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
Ability to multi-task
