The Hospital Services Coordinator:
Serves as representative to hospital and blood center customers, providing blood components in a courteous and efficient manner.
Demonstrates an awareness of the importance of quality assurance by consistently following standard operating procedures (SOP's).
Ensures appropriate handling and organization of blood components for hospital inventories and fractionator shipments.
In accordance with SOP's, follows all applicable regulatory standards.
This is a part time, 2nd shift position. Wednesday-Friday, 3pm-11pm.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Regular attendance is an essential function of all positions.
Must be guided by the highest level of integrity and people-centered care.
Work Environment and Physical Activities:
Must be able to lift heavy boxes up to 60 pounds and work intermittently in a cold environment.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be on-call as required.
Must be able to perform the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.

We began in Dayton in 1964 as the region's first centralized blood bank. Solvita collects and provides all blood products for hospitals in our 15-county region and beyond.
The tissue bank was born in 1986 and is now one of the nation's largest tissue banks. Solvita recovers, processes, and distributes human tissue grafts and is the nation's largest non-profit provider of skin grafts for burn patients.
