The Bravas Pre-Wire Lead – Technician will join our dynamic in-house Rough-In and Trim Out team, reporting directly to the Bravas Rough In and Trim Out Project Manager and Location Operations Manager. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge of wiring foundations essential to the custom integration and low voltage industry.
Knowledge, Skills/Abilities:
- Collaborate with the team to perform prewires onsite, ensuring efficient and precise installation.
- Communicate progress and updates regularly to the Bravas Rough In and Trim Out Project Manager.
- Learn and master the installation of rough in components, such as: back boxes and housings for various technologies including gate stations, door stations, cameras, wireless access points, and speakers.
- Gain expertise in trimming out prewires, terminating fiber, data, audio wiring, installing security systems, panels, keypads, motions, glass breaks, sirens, wall plates, keystones, wireless access points, cameras, and other equipment.
- Maintain professionalism and represent Bravas effectively while interacting with sales staff, custom home builders, architects, and designers onsite.
- Adhere to Bravas uniform standards and always conduct oneself in a professional manner.
- Work in various environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, to complete projects as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in low voltage systems is a plus.
- Must have 3+ years of experience in the integration industry.
- Prior experience in rough in and trim out work, preferably in custom integration or related industry.
- Strong understanding of wiring fundamentals and construction techniques.
- Understanding on how to read home schematics, plans or blueprints
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Demonstrated professionalism and the ability to interact courteously with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, or bending may be required.
- Must be able to lift up to 30-45 pounds at times.
