Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for a dedicated Senior Project Engineer to become a member of the Reentry Program Integration (RPI) Office. In this role you will:

• Work independently on projects/ tasking needed for the FBM Reentry Directorate. Must be able to work independently to solve and complete work

• Provide briefings to managers, senior leadership, and the customer. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written

• Leverage current available data, determine gaps in data and figure out how to collect missing data

•Understand how to evaluate and assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement

•Facilitate and work on the integration of several projects occurring within our directorate and organizations

• Assist in the evolution of our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other metrics/tools used to manage the business and ensure business success

• Coordinate planning, schedule, organization, control, integration and completion of projects within area of assigned responsibility

• Lead and collaborate with the FBM Reentry directorate for improvements and initiatives by applying engineering background to shape process innovations using engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications

• Track Reentry programmatic actions, proof and ensure completion for the Directorate

• Support and report contract requirements and deliveries for Reentry Directorate

This is a mid-career role. Successful candidates would have 5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of professional experience with a Master's degree.

All candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications:
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite tools (PowerPoint, excel, etc.)

• Experience in the coordination planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects.

• Demonstrated ability to take a project from conceptualization and organize, plan and manage it to successful completion

• Excellent, demonstrated communication, presentation and people skills are required as this position requires frequent briefings to senior leadership, as well as, the customer

• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance, as such US Citizenship is required.

• Must be able to formulate solutions independently. Works under general direction and guidance from leader.

• Develops detailed plan and solutions with minimal error to projects, efforts, and tasks. Work is reviewed at completion should have no significant issues.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
