- Safety: Passion for safety, and ability design with risk elimination and reduction in mind.
- Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on R&D and prototype development. Wood products experience is an asset.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), finite element analysis (FEA), and other engineering tools.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and mechanical systems, robotics and controls.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to engineering challenges.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
What We Offer
Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $94,977-$171,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 10%-20% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401(k) plan, which includes a paid company match on a per pay period basis. In addition, the company makes a retirement savings contribution of 5% of eligible earnings into the 401(k) Plan.
Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours.
