Campus Safety and Security Officer (Potsdam, NY) Position Summary: The Campus Safety Officer is responsible for providing campus safety services to the university community, which includes enforcing university regulations, vehicle and traffic laws, local, state and federal laws. Providing emergency response on campus and protecting life and property within the Clarkson community. In addition, the Campus Safety Officer/ Staff engage in outreach and communication efforts to women and/or underrepresented student groups on campus around issues of alcohol consumption, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment and bias-related conduct. Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma required. Must be willing to get certified by the State of New York as a Security Guard (8 Hour Pre- Assignment Course for Security Guards) within 30 days of hire. Certified in CPR, AED and First Aid. New York State drivers license and a driving record acceptable to the University.
